The Catholic Church comes out against Visar Zhiti’s candidacy as Albania’s ambassador to the Vatican. The news is made public by Monsignor George Frendo, auxiliary bishop of the Tirana-Durrës diocese and secretary general of the Episcopal Conference of the Catholic Church. In an interview for “GAZETA SHQIPTARE”, he gives the Catholic Church’s official position and the reasons why Zhiti’s name is opposed.
