Attempts to carry out bomb attacks using explosives are back in the capital. Duralumin businessman Ervis Imeri, 31, can be considered very lucky, because a few minutes before he started the rented car, he saw a suspicious package placed behind the vehicle. The son-in-law of a building contractor did not hesitate to notify the police, and bomb-disposal experts managed to deactivate the explosive device, which turned out to be 600 grams of TNT divided into three blocks, ready to explode. The police are investigating to shed light on the incident and to determine whether Imeri is indeed the target of the attack, or someone else, since the car is not owned by the 31-year-old but rented by him. They are also investigating a possible conflict involving Imeri’s father-in-law, due to his activity as a builder, which may have led to the attack on his son-in-law. ...
