The Lezha judge, Parashqevi Ademi, and lawyer Gjovalin Ndokaj will remain in cells, at least until a second decision from the Appeals Court. Yesterday morning, the Court for Serious Crimes imposed the security measure of “arrest in prison” on Ademi, amid suspicions that she was involved in a corrupt case. According to the prosecutor’s investigation, judge Ademi received a sum of 50,000 lek from lawyer Ndokaj, whom she had appointed mainly to defend the interests of the complainant A.P. and his mother.
