The Lezha judge, Parashqevi Ademi, and lawyer Gjovalin Ndokaj will remain in cells, at least until a second decision from the Appeals Court. Yesterday morning, the Court for Serious Crimes imposed the security measure of “arrest in prison” on Ademi, amid suspicions that she was involved in a corrupt case. According to the prosecutor’s investigation, judge Ademi received a sum of 50,000 lek from lawyer Ndokaj, whom she had appointed mainly to defend the interests of the complainant A.P. and his mother. The money was found in the judge’s office...
