The modern laboratory for processing hard drugs uncovered in Xibrakë, Elbasan, also appears to have drawn the attention of the American Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), since Ilir Hyseni, considered the organizer of the trafficking network, turns out to be wanted by Interpol for trafficking, albeit under a different identity. DEA experts have requested information from the prosecutor’s office regarding Hyseni’s file (now arrested) and have offered assistance concerning the investigation into the origin of the cocaine found in Xibrakë.
