The crisis brought back 180 thousand Albanians OUR AMBASSADOR IN ATHENS: 16 THOUSAND “ILLEGAL”S WERE DEPORTED IN 2014 Dashnor Dervishi: As a result of the economic crisis over the last 3-4 years, Albanians left Greece. The maritime pact? Under review in diplomatic channels Albania’s ambassador to Greece, Dashnor Dervishi, in an interview given to the portal “Albanians.gr” explained that the economic crisis in the neighboring state has forced 180,000 Albanian emigrants to leave from there. He also spoke about the stage of bilateral relations, the future of the maritime pact, and the issues troubling the Albanian community in Greece. 1. ALBANIAN-GREEK RELATIONS a.
