The new police law, which entered into force on 1 March, will have financial consequences for all officers because of the change to the rank system and the corresponding salary. In the draft decisions being drawn up by the experts of the Ministry of the Interior, every police employee with more than 10 years of work is expected to be paid seniority at 2 percent for each year of work. There will also be changes to the types and amounts of pensions for every officer.
