The Minister of State for Relations with Parliament, Ermonela Felaj, declared during the program “Debati” on “Channel One” with journalist Roland Qafoku that the government is ready to submit to Parliament within this month “the law prohibiting entry into elected or appointed public functions” for people who have been finally convicted of intentional crimes or serious crimes committed with intent.” According to her, this law will have retroactive effect. How do you see the decriminalization of Parliament? In my view, MPs are representatives of our society. We need the decriminalization of society in order then to achieve the decriminalization of Parliament. In one way or another, we deserve those who are in Parliament.
