The prosecution reacts: For the same case, two contradictory rulings were handed down The court dismisses the charges against the former chief inspector of INUK. Earlier, it had sentenced 2 other officials The former head of the National Urban-Planning and Construction Inspectorate, Zyhdi Dajti, has “won” acquittal at the Tirana Court. Dajti was accused of abuse of office, and the prosecution had requested a 3-year prison sentence for him and the removal of others’ right to hold public functions. Judge Artan Gjermeni, alongside Zyhdi Dajti, has also signed acquittal for the eight former subordinates of the former INUK chief, who were also accused of abuse of office.
