Thousands of prisoners will very likely leave their cells before the year-end holidays, as they will benefit from the amnesty bill. The Ministry of Justice has proposed the amnesty bill to the government, and it will very likely be approved within a few days in Parliament. The bill specifically sets out the beneficiary categories. Thus, the amnesty benefits persons sentenced to up to 2 years in prison, persons given suspended sentences with a fine, or persons for whom the court has ordered... On pages 8-9
