In March 2013, when Mark Frroku announced his candidacy for the Albanian Parliament, under the banner of the Christian Democrats, he felt more than ever the need to “vindicate” himself according to the Kanun for the suspicions that at that time were increasingly growing that he had killed Aleksandër Kurti in Belgium. According to the Kanun, he decides to organize a ceremony to make a “be” to the victim’s family, which, if carried out, would at least morally and according to customary law, leave Frroku “cleared” not only in front of the family...
