Florenc Hoxha, former head of the Local Urban Construction Inspectorate, and his 28 subordinates will face justice in 2016, as they are accused of having allowed a boom of illegal construction in the capital. After more than a year of investigations, the Tirana Prosecutor’s Office indicted the former official Florenc Hoxha and the inspectors on charges of abuse of office. The prosecutor’s file says that these abuses took place during the period July 2012–December 2013. The inspectors - the file emphasizes - allowed approximately 500 constructions to be erected
