On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the homeland, the Ministry of Defence awarded, about a year ago, 1,000 veterans of the National Liberation Anti-Fascist War, the “Medal of Gratitude.” “Gazeta Shqiptare” has exclusively obtained the full list, previously unknown, where a number of personalities stand out, as well as high-ranking officials of the communist nomenklatura, former State Security employees, prosecutors and judges.
