The General Prosecution Office, through a press statement, publicly expressed yesterday its concern that the new Constitution of the Republic of Albania has caused a blockage in the normal functioning of the institution, and therefore called for an immediate solution through the approval of a transitional constitutional provision.
“In the view of the General Prosecution Office, this emergency intervention in the fundamental law should give force to the previous legal provisions, until the full package of judicial reform is approved,” says the reaction of the prosecution body. The General Prosecution Office notes...
