Yesterday more than 40 thousand high school seniors were tested on their knowledge of the foreign language they study as their first language at school. The students had 2 hours and 30 minutes available to take the test, which consisted of 25 questions: 13 multiple-choice questions and 12 open-ended questions. The foreign languages for which the seniors took a mandatory exam are English, Italian, French and German.
