One day after declaring that he was against reshuffles in the government cabinet, Prime Minister Edi Rama made two changes in the government. He dismissed Finance Minister Shkëlqim Cani and appointed Arben Ahmetaj in his place. The post of Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship, vacated by Ahmetaj, was taken by Deputy Minister of Health Milva Ekonomi, a well-known expert in the field of statistics in the country.
