On 20 April the elections for the new leaders in the public universities will take place. At the University of Tirana, the race for the rector of UT is between two candidates, Prof. Mynyr Koni and Prof. Klodian Dibra. According to the chairwoman of the Institutional Electoral Commission (KIZ) at the University of Tirana, Majlinda Keta, for the first time the elections for the new leaders will be observed by the Youth Council of the American Embassy as well as observers from the Coalition for Free and Fair Elections.
