Political persecuted people who failed to submit the documentation on time to receive compensation for the years spent in prison will have a second chance. Now, the Ministry of Social Welfare and Youth has ready the amendments to the law “On some additions and amendments to Law No. 9831, dated 12.11.2007, ‘On the compensation of former politically convicted persons of the communist regime’,” according to which the reopening of the document submission process is planned. “Gazeta Shqiptare” has managed to secure the main proposals...
