The President of the Republic,
Bujar Nishani, yesterday addressed the Constitutional Court with a request for the interpretation of article 98, paragraph 1 of the Constitution of Albania.
Mr. Nishani stated that: “On 17.02.2016, the Institution of the President forwarded to Parliament for review both decrees for the dismissal of ministers Cani and Ahmetaj, in order to carry out their examination in accordance with article 98, paragraph 2 of the Constitution. The Parliament of Albania, at the session of 18.02.2016, did not examine the decrees of the President of the Republic for the dismissal of the two respective ministers, of Finance and of Economic Development, ...
