Yesterday, in its meeting, the government approved the draft law for the establishment of the National Bureau of Investigation, as an addition to the draft law on the State Police. According to the government draft law, which will now go to Parliament, the “National Bureau of Investigation” is organized as a special structure within the State Police. This structure exercises its powers throughout the entire territory of the country. The administrative organization and functioning of the NBI are determined by instruction of the minister responsible for Public Order and Security, on the proposal of the director of the State Police.
