Nishani does not decree 2 appointments The President publishes the decision on the dismissals, but not on the new ministers The head of state decides on the removal of Shkëlqim Cani and Arben Ahmetaj, but not on the appointments of Ekonomi to Economy and Ahmetaj to Finance. The reasons remain a mystery By VALENTINA MADANI President Bujar Nishani yesterday decreed the dismissal of Shkëlqim Cani and Arben Ahmetaj, respectively from the posts of Minister of Finance and Minister of Economy. But the head of state has still not signed the decrees appointing Ahmetaj to “Finance” and Milva Ekonomi to “Economy”, even though Prime Minister Edi Rama has officially sent him the proposals. Meanwhile, yesterday during the welcome ceremony for the President of Malta, Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, as well as during the signing of the memorandum of cooperation... On page 3
