The new form, the fee of 2,000 lek, and the way to benefit from the compensation fund By ORNELA MANJANI The Property Treatment Agency has published the standard form that owners whose land has been occupied by unauthorized constructions must fill out in order to benefit from compensation for the land. The application cost is 2,000 lek, while the deadline for reviewing the request is 90 days. Within 60 days from receipt of the request, the working group verifies the documents, while the head of the Property Treatment Agency, within 30 days from the verification, signs the payments. The process of registration or acceptance of compensation claims begins 5 days after the date of public notice. By order of the director general of the ATP, the working group is set up to receive and review claims, with the aim of compensating owners of real estate, private property affected by informal constructions, and distributing the corresponding fund.
