The killing of the OSHEE employee, Zamir Velaj, has shocked the residents of Oblikë. A day after the tragic event, silence has fallen over this village, while the victim’s family has opened the doors of mourning. The stabbing of the 55-year-old because of the duty he was carrying out has led the family of the perpetrator, Martin Zefi, to lock themselves in out of fear of revenge. To avoid a possible clash between the two families, whose homes are not far from each other, the Shkodër police have placed the 47-year-old’s house under guard.
