1,550 heirs with incomplete files
Ministry of Finance: The beneficiaries are the children whose parents were in prison; the inheritance certificate is required. The list also includes former political prisoners who are still alive. Payment is made once the file has been completed.

The Ministry of Finance publishes the list of the first 1,550 heirs of former political convicts who are entitled to compensation, but they must complete the documentation in order to receive the money. The documents that must be submitted are an inheritance certificate, the deceased convict’s death certificate, the deceased convict’s family registry certificate, an active bank account number for each beneficiary or a power of attorney, and an identity document for the beneficiaries. The Ministry of Finance states that, “in cases where the former persecuted person is no longer alive
