The Prosecutor General’s Office, through a press statement, publicly expressed yesterday its concern that the new Constitution of the Republic of Albania has hindered the normal functioning of the institution, thus calling for an immediate solution through the adoption of a transitional constitutional provision.
“In the view of the Prosecutor General’s Office, this emergency intervention in the fundamental law should give force to the previous legal provisions, until the full package of justice reform is adopted,” says the reaction of the prosecution service.
