The new law, the 50 million lek limit for plots
ATP examines requests within 30 days for recognized decisions. The government determines the method for payment in lek and physical return. The third list with 23 thousand hectares available to owners

Compensation for former owners, according to the cadastral entry of 1945 and the current land value map, will be made in money. The limit set by law is 50 million lek for each recognized decision. The Council of Ministers has regulated, through a decision, the limit for payment in lek and for the physical return of property. Thus, all final decisions, financially valued as plot land, receive financial compensation from the compensation fund, up to the amount of 50, according to letter “a”, point 1, article 8, of Law no. 133/2015, and the remaining part from the valuation of the decision
