Veliaj: Progressive taxation for property

The Tirana Municipality will propose to Parliament a change in the property tax for businesses, by applying progressive taxation. The news was announced by Mayor Erion Veliaj during the Consultative Council of Central Government with Local Government, stressing that this tax should be 0.25% of the property’s value. Veliaj also said that changes in the budget for the fire service are necessary, calling for transfers to be made based on emergencies...
