Edi Rama’s “coded” message By VALENTINA MADANI Prime Minister Edi Rama will meet today with several ministers of his cabinet to inform them of the decision that they must leave office and devote themselves to the electoral campaign, which is expected to begin in a few weeks. From Monday onward, the head of government is expected to sign the dismissal of Damian Gjiknuri, Ditmir Bushati, Blendi Klosi, Lindita Nikolla, Mimi Kodheli, Bledi Çuçi and Ilir Beqaj. Rama is expected to dismiss precisely those ministers who are also political leaders of the Socialist Party in the districts, in order to give them the chance to focus full-time on the electoral effort and on achieving the objective: winning the parliamentary elections of 18 June.
