Appeal, the Jokl library in Albania By PETRIT PALUSHI In the book “Rare Testimony” (7 April 1939), after 79 years, materials are published from the “Notes on the Biography” of Qazim M. Ahmeti (Onuzi), from the village of Nange (Kukës district). They mainly convey the war atmosphere of the dramatic 7 April 1939, but also a rich biography of Qazim M. Onuzi when he served in the Albanian Gendarmerie before and after that time, until he was released on health grounds on 20 December 1939. From the very beginning of the notebook, the author declares his clear aim: “In this notebook I will describe our biography with exactness, highlighting the sufferings of my youth during the period of the barbaric occupations and revolutions.” The notebook contains 40 pages of notes.
