The State Election Commissioner, Ilirjan Celibashi, has sent to the prosecutor’s office for further verification the 30 candidates for mayors and municipal councils on 14 May.
At yesterday’s meeting, Indrit Sefa of the Democratic Party requested the deregistration of the PS candidate in Mallakastër, Qerim Ismailaj, because the 2-year period of candidacy ban under the decriminalization law has not yet expired.
