In support of the hunger strike of Adem Demaçi
The editorial staff of the newspaper “Koha jonë” expresses its support for the hunger strike begun by the well-known Albanian figure of this century, Adem Demaci. The journalists of “KJ” stand in solidarity with the demands and purpose of this strike, which has continued for several days. They assure Mr. Adem Demaçi and the 23 fellow journalists taking part in this hunger strike that the newspaper “Koha Jonë” will always be a source of support for them and for all those colleagues in Kosovo who today are forced to contend with the violence and diktat exercised by the Serbian state against the press and freedom of expression.
