Albania - one step closer to Europe

Full membership expected in June Positive response from the Political Committee of the Council of Europe Albania has today taken an important step forward in the process of its membership in the Council of Europe, with the practical setting [?] of membership in this institution. The recommendation of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has practically settled the matter on the final side. The decision will be passed on Monday to another group of members of the Council of Europe for the final vote. From what is known, the voting and discussions are favorable in this case, so a successful vote on Monday is not expected. According to sources in the CoE or with some reaction at the end, the objective of the very delayed entry into the CoE
