Fatos Nano declares from Bënça prison The opposition leader responds to the services’ fake letters A source close to the political prisoner in Bënça, whom the editorial office cannot identify without exposing them, decided to make public through the newspaper “Koha Jonë” a humorous comment by Fatos Nano concerning a supposedly authentic letter of his, recently published in “Albania”. “Rakipëria” represents the latest species of “sewer rats” to invade the official press in Albania. Emerging from the filthy waters of the past, these despicable creatures continue to feed and multiply by swallowing, vomiting up, and chewing over the infected “excrement” of today’s regime. Now these rats have begun visiting the opposition’s “kitchens” more and more often, to soil them with the leftovers of the “spoiled soup” from the secret offices where they are bred. It seems that, as is well known, they were the first to sense this regime’s earthquake and are looking for shelter for tomorrow! These offices and hybrid species try in vain to reproduce not just my handwriting, but even my other extremities, because, as I have said, I have the system of assimilation, public and private, under full control, ecologically and politically. Meanwhile, convinced that this species will not survive the elections, I cannot undertake, in prison conditions, to prevent other living creatures from coming into contact with this fashionable “infection”! In the meantime, I tell all my friends and well-wishers, known and unknown, to remain calm, both for today and for the future: not only will Berisha and his “sewer rats” fail to infect me with their spoiled soups, but my brain, even in prison, will never become flat and wrinkle-free like that of the creatures who surround and serve Berisha.
