Rexhep Mejdani must resign
The non-growth of young people from power
Will the party feel fear before debates, from the weight of mandates and power and the burden of deeds, as this is now one of the problems in the hope that we will find a way and build an open and responsible spectrum for change and development, or toward the restoration of delegated powers?
The Democratic Party and the President of the Republic, with their two latest electoral victories, declared loudly that the entire machinery of the country’s governance would end up as much as possible in their hands, and they achieved that. In order to minimize the difficulties and the extent to which local power was shaken, many in the PS thought that the loss of 95 percent was severe. At the moment when they should have felt fear, the opposite happened: the country is in danger, because the right-wing government has made the flow and communications irregular. But a challenge also arises: is the country being directed toward opportunities and the development of enterprises? Are the current irresponsible figures being directed toward governance? So, to stop the injustices and give more opportunities to young people and to productive work? Because in Albania, the future of young people has gone away.
First of all, because earlier in general they grew in spirits, there cannot be young people, and they are (so) adolescents, who feel or sense it by the warmth of the homeland. More so in order to have it taken away from power. Primarily, with young people’s ideas. The less and more for those whom the PD has lost, against the young people who have been activated and the employment of goods. In general, citizens hope and rise up and move straight ahead, and the ideas of the “tomorrow” of this government are not attributed to them. In a gathering in the center and not even the call. At an unclear level, neither of the elite nor of the students. In a sign as if it has moved toward governance, into a blockage as well for the many. At a clear level, as if hindered. In a situation in which both governance and citizens are difficult, with alarm and anxiety. So the most urgent needs to make a major distinction are new: the challenges of rights and responsibilities.
Therefore, first and foremost, the current government must defeat populist prejudices through reforms. For this, courage is needed in a certain measure. First, because a party that gives may know: in Albania, in a country where there is no order and, to a certain extent, in a centralized state, a heavy obstacle is placed. It does it as a whole and together, provided it does not fall broadly. The path between delegated power and the vote, in truth the public, in vote and with civic responsibility explained and with the “tomorrow” of this government are not attributed to them. With regard to the direction of the PS, it must make an analysis of the electoral defeat and then take responsibility. From this point of view, the current party chairman, Mr. Rexhep Mejdani, should also resign. It would be more honorable. This act would be in line with what happens in the West, especially when one loses by such a wide margin.
