This debate on the issue on TV between Director Klosi and Mazi was reduced two days ago to a debate about appointments to public posts for which they are responsible. Mazi emphasized that he was chosen without any merit and that he does not have the [condition?]. As if to take this debate to its conclusion, in an interview with ZP two days ago, Klosi commented as follows: “We Albanians love one another very much when someone has died, but we’re nothing without [them?] ... while they are alive. The best solution is ... to die oneself: I always do this, and knowing how much Albanians will love [me] then, I’m trying it now, deep in their [being?].”
Apart from this statement, I must underline the conviction of many journalists in the ... press that Klosi set out from Munich for Tirana, but his plane circles over Ri... without landing in our reality; the problem is profound. How are important appointments made, who decides them, and who takes responsibility for failures?! Under current Albanian laws, to work in the administration ... even in a modest position, ... you must sit an examination and have an impressive CV. When the issue shifts to more important and political appointments, the requirement ... is concrete work and the character that ... the person in question has built in that field. Naturally, this work is tangible and almost all Albanians can judge it for themselves. ... Experience, practice ... stuck one day at Rinas, after ... an Italian company or ... a pocket with ... an American card in one pocket and chestnuts ... for the return ticket in the other, are guarantees. Many of them could ... do even better, without the country being the place, and after ... they leave, leaving all of us with ... the chaos they have concocted. Because the mess ... then happens as with Klosi, who returns to Germany, putting forward the file ... Zhulaland. There is no way ... his reform can begin with such a ... past: “What is news,” where he explains ... the etymology of the word and his concept of it ... that’s all, distributing a cassette ... in which journalists see him as an anchor on ... shift. It seems he presents you with an interview quoted ... above, saying that people like this are not ... what are curiously called “Meritocrats,” but ... “Delirantocrats.”
