The beginning of the problems

The series of "coexistence" between the right wing of the Albanian parliament, the present end the day before yesterday at a dinner organized by the Italian government at Rinas airport. The first was the exemplary involvement of the Council of Europe in resolving Albania's crisis, but this was the very beginning of the chaos. Yet the true beginning of the events in our country came with the issue that, in a single meeting, the first opponent and only challenger to the head of state, Sali Berisha, sat at the same table and spoke with Prime Minister Fatos Nano.
It was a strong gesture loaded with political meaning. This time it was not a matter of a protocol dinner. This time there were clear signals that the right wing was seeking to settle all the consequences of the crisis and wanted the mediation of the Council of Europe. In this sense, the opposition's request to bring well-known political figures to the table also insisted on including those places that could contribute to a solution.
In this situation politics is worsening. In this situation, the alarm in public opinion was tangible. This forced the government to react and clarify the next steps. It was against this backdrop that the Nano-Berisha meeting took place.
On an ordinary afternoon, the day before yesterday, the head of the opposition, accompanied by a group of collaborators, arrived at the reserved areas of Rinas airport, where the Italian government was located. There, in front of the cameras, he met Fatos Nano.
In the photos taken at that moment, the two leaders can be seen walking side by side. Above them is also the headline explaining this news: Court: Alimuça[?] 15 days in prison.
