p. 3 How much does an MP cost? Ylli Limani We will economic-socially, salary is given to the country against a job, or a field or a manço. Without work, there is not only no salary, but no job either. If a person has a salary, where is the workplace where he performs his duties? In the logic of the 20th century, there is no salary when from work one directly takes account of the power and capacity of capital, gather the assets of the MPs of the Democratic Party. They are not paid, but their salaries, which are not the completion of work and the end of work, are demoralizing. They are intellectuals; in three groups the parliament must govern, because they make decisions for the skull of the state. In short, those who boycott and do not perform their parliamentary duty, by what right should I pay them? In this way, they are paid for nothing. From a legal-economic point of view, this payment for work not performed, a salary goes in the most thieving form to be realized within the framework of payments for work not performed. Lawmakers go and direct and develop and implement within the framework of the activity of Parliament. But how do they represent the voters of the PD by not showing up in Parliament? Or do they represent a reckless misuse of funds? In Albania this kind of misuse cannot be justified either legally. In the elections of 29 June 1997, the PD won 24 seats in parliament, of which 16 were direct and 8 through the proportional system. The moral conduct of these deputies was that parliament should have cost 2 million and 400 thousand lek. (continued on page 18)

Even the wonderful people of Kavajë are supporters of Lezhë Tomorrow the big final between “Besëlidhja” and “Shqiponja” At the end of the post there is the great prayer with two worn teeth and a collar bearing the “Shqiponja” brand, seized by a deep sorrow. He is a strange figure with thin mustaches and big glasses, who makes you laugh without meaning to. He addresses the people of Lezhë: “I am sorry that the two teams are playing in Kavajë. You have honestly won the right to host the match in Lezhë.” Strange in appearance and in his own words, this Kavajë man. He is perhaps the most innocent among the city’s fans, who by nature takes him back and forth. With sacrifices he has thrown himself into supporting and fighting for the team’s progress. Perhaps if today Kavajë is close to “Besëlidhja”, he will calmly pass the two center matches, so that the footballers of this one will be a bridge in the city on Thursday. Even without such support from the people of Kavajë today, they would make the Kavajë team give in wonderfully. In Sunday’s dream the stadium would be filled with fans and it would become one of the most beautiful recent matches in Albanian football for the season. He will move toward the goal from this wonderful support from Lezhë to play on the city’s field. Perhaps with Lezhë, for such a match, a very beautiful atmosphere and a strong sporting and civic spirit made sense. Today is Sunday, very close to that dream. Tomorrow, for sure, the town of Lezhë will also be filled with sadness and tears for many local football fans. The ticket belongs to the club “Besëlidhja”. 10 lira have been set. But the scenario seemed to play out very well, with the match in Kavajë and the many fans who will watch this final, which will arouse great interest. Thus there will be an important celebration. Tomorrow, between “Besëlidhja” and “Shqiponja”, a tough match will be played with all Albanian football, and by winning this final a new entry at the end of their victory.
