The Balkans freed from Russia

Diplomacy Official information has arrived that the Russian ambassador in Tirana has declared that she will leave for NATO. Against the Albanians? Here is what the Russian analyst and the Albanian ambassador in Moscow think. The close curiosity is even pleasing because the outcome of the continent with such an act makes better use of Russia’s character. Nothing has stopped European progress more than the loss of the Balkan countries. Serbia will not be the only misplaced element, because by being definitively removed from modern history it will be placed in another code. To speak of NATO, against the Albanians and even of Russian policies from the new government makes this dramatic Russian climate understandable. Apparently its harsh stance toward Albania will turn into a measure to avoid the mega-direction of its decision-making, in order to move Kosovo’s interests westward. Meanwhile, in the statement of the Russian spokesperson we never encounter anything like that. But this issue does not mean that the Russian government can be indifferent to the direction of our country. In such an analysis of the Russian stance toward the Albanians, there arises a need to understand better what Moscow seeks in developments in the Balkans. Perhaps for this reason the Russian officials who stood very close to Milošević are moving briskly after the war to destroy by every means what has been built up and is now being affirmed. Now an anti-Albanian spirit seems completely senseless, even more so unexplained, in order to once again have influence over the Albanians. Moscow is apparently following a delayed policy that marks its backwardness in relation to new orientations and stability in the region. In this way, what now looks like a dead end constitutes an enemy that has lost its bearings. Thus a country and a diplomacy that aims to return once more against the Albanians and NATO, against the recovery of the Balkans and against the Western stance also in Kosovo is expressing the same destabilizing policy. These cannot remain without an answer. Russian diplomacy is now not capable of creating its peace-loving impression and, on the contrary, still remains filled with such notes, which after the war will ultimately lead not only to failures but also to further political losses. Therefore it would be senseless if, after the war, part of them were to be chosen. Albania, after the Kosovo war, has precisely defined its new path and this will not waver. USA,
