The right people in the police, the first step to success

These days, the Minister of Public Order, Spartak Poci, submitted to the government a change in the ranks of police chiefs and at the lower levels, taking into account that local government had been "a member" of the meeting. For all past governments it has been more than normal that, even the reformists and the others have "cut" heads after failing and at the meeting opportunities, but no noticeable improvement has emerged in the functioning of the situation. This seems to have been a consequence of the major failures suffered by police work under Sali, ministers of order and others. Time after time numerous cases have been uncovered in which people of crime were being appointed in the country, or when work was interfered with by criminal interests. However, in appointing the best people to lead police appointments, the deputy ministers and police directors have left room for opposite decisions. It is rightly necessary, and it takes a lot of time, because the structures must work at maximum efficiency. Although the expectation for the destruction of gangs and criminal structures is still not approaching, the forceful attack on trafficking and smuggling is an important moment. In order for there to be a chance of success in the fight against crime, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Order must coordinate for implementation with full efficiency. This must result in a clear direction for the police's strategy in the fight against crime, etc. Looking at the government and its powers, it is necessary for police leaders to show responsibility and determination toward any evil affecting public order. This means that every link with the past must be cut and professional and moral criteria must be established in the state police. Only in this way can citizens' trust in the police and in public order be restored.
