The great removal of the small officials

What everyone expected happened. Some government officials resigned. Driven by the worries and political eruptions, he from Pershini managed to have his nose pushed out of joint, running off to hotels or going on holiday in villas. Some members of the government cabinet wavered around their armchairs and are trying to stay as long as possible in the ministry offices. Perhaps they think it is time to receive even some decoration from their chief, from minds oriented in every direction and from the backs of the smallest officials. Perhaps at first, the amateurs and the conscious members of the secret commune thought the leadership was what they had done in order to settle some favors and tokens for the same party of the prime minister. Since Nagjila [?] gave assistance and removals through intervention, at some point they were put to work on the farce of their departure. It seemed the formalities were ending, but everything was not going as it should. With the change of power and the clash of democracies, moral decline appears and they run away from weddings. In these kinds of political ceremonies there has remained every sort of human dregs with tired faces, similar to those of yesterday. Many of them have eaten and drunk enough and then turned into beneficiaries of the process. We have seen them sit still, without moving, taking instructions and waiting to be rewarded with positions. They are countless, yet accidental, with poor spirit and small minds. Honest Albanians do not feel this farce as a wedding, but as a scene in which the leaders separate from one another and the public is left only with the bitter taste of a pale spectacle.

Akçoj had come out of Krina [?] around 20:00 and shot dead with a firearm the couple Sulejman and Vjollca Buci, aged 26 and 31. Police sources report that the 22-year-old was the first victim in a long series of jealousy. Akçiu also fired at himself, but from the immediate reaction of a relative it seems that the Buci couple had insulted him and perhaps had taken him [?.] - page 10 -
