The ball is in Berisha’s court

By Gëzim Shënvolla Dialogue in Albanian politics over the past two years is best known through a ball, which the main movers try to leave in the opponent’s court. After Kano’s statements that when the opponent possesses the truth, the only way out is not to react, the same idea has been used in this campaign as well, also thanks to the fact that the new prime minister sacrifices only himself and the government, while everyone remembers the “deal” or governance, the possible “agreement” with those who talk and round off relations with them. The opposition leader’s turn to talk begins well or drifts aimlessly, the opposition leader’s turn to talk begins well or drifts aimlessly, the opposition leader’s turn to talk begins well or drifts aimlessly, the opposition leader’s turn to talk begins well or drifts aimlessly, the opposition leader’s turn to talk begins well or drifts aimlessly, the opposition leader’s turn to talk begins well or drifts aimlessly[?] Dr. Berisha was also previously presented as a partner in dialogue on behalf and only rarely as someone who opposes on behalf of his deputies, to be sought out last. Now the reaction of the next leader to dialogue is awaited with interest from his own side. If he remains silent, perhaps even sets himself apart. The word may be unclear, but he will feel clear as the “brake on dialogue” and will be unmasked as a pure demagogue, about whom the entire interested public knows that he belongs only to the end. Finding himself in the public eye, wounded before whom the end and those who dialogue and punish, the only one who exploits all the “lines,” the Democratic leader is supplied in this campaign only with Majko as the right terrain to achieve the fact that the new prime minister sacrifices only himself and the government to overcome the “syndrome of the dirty eyes” and the “unreasonable boldness” of the nanesit, such a figure in the extended family of leadership. On the other hand, Majko has left the ball for dialogue with Berisha, which is even more justified because in parliament he has several deputies who clearly influence the governance of the country. Moreover, during this period there have been several almost secret meetings and conversations, not only by telephone, in order to find some modus vivendi, so necessary even for the sake of a calm, even if temporary. The greatest flourishing would undoubtedly have appeared after Fatos Nano came to power and when, despite a positive campaign by the right, which was in a state of vacancy, it had the “historic chance” to come to power. And now that the polarizing Prime Minister Majko has come to the head of the PS and of the state, the concepts of a confrontational current that Albanian politics has replaced over these 8 years, the accusation.

The wings of SHIK are being clipped

page 3 The government reacts after an article in the newspaper “Koha Jonë” Prime Minister Meta dismissed Kajo Kalaja yesterday The Minister of Defense is summoned urgently to the Prime Minister’s Office Amid a scandal, the prime minister appears determined to move away from compromise in order to clean things up and govern. Meanwhile, by appointing as commander of aviation a man without schooling, an insult to the service of the armed forces, the prime minister, found in a difficult position, last night accepted SHIK’s demands one by one. This aviation command scandal continues to remain an obstacle to relations between the government and the media, but the pages of “Koha Jonë” provide abundant evidence that forces the government to move quickly. It remains absurd to appoint as commander of aviation a civilian-clad peasant, giving orders to all officers with high ranks and specializations in flying. During yesterday, developments began with the economic dismissal of Kajo Kalaja, appointed Deputy General Director for Economics at the Ministry of Defense, with accusations against the General Director for Economics of the Ministry of Defense; the minister’s command had influenced the arrival to be transferred. Kalaja had been a defendant and later accused of theft during the unrest of 1997, giving the public proof of the shortcomings of the appointment.
