After a relatively long pause in his work, the chairman of the PDS and moderate opposition figure has once again taken up a work rhythm, with a handover to govern the country at the beginning of next year. This could perhaps further stimulate Berisha’s parliamentary movement. This impression has recently also been created by the image of meetings in many different cities across Albania. Despite Berisha’s stated final position, when the PD left the opposition coalition because its allies were cooperating with Nano’s government, a new moment in the opposition movement is being observed, and this has recently been seen as a “shift.” Berisha’s absence from the field of political action has left the development of governance itself politically inadequate. Such developments, in sharp contrast to the “lordly calm” of the PDS for a longer period, have also led to consideration of the fact that in the capital and in the regions a movement and articulation of opposition has begun.
