The serious incident of the past Monday with no. 1[?] ...[?] in the part that was dep...[?] ... [?] Tonight at midnight, unidentified persons have carried out a terrorist, criminal, and anti-state act. As a result of the explosion of the explosive device, the main part of the military unit in Poliçan has collapsed, causing major material damage and casualties.[?] This action is a continuation of destabilizing acts aimed at striking the new democratic order and the Albanian state. The people of Poliçan and of the whole country strongly condemn this barbaric act. The competent authorities are investigating to uncover the authors and organizers of this crime. The problem of water supply in the city of Tirana has become even more acute during the summer. Long interruptions and lack of water in many neighborhoods have caused great dissatisfaction among residents. According to specialists, the solution requires immediate investment in the distribution network, repairs to existing stations, and putting new sources into operation. At the same time, water losses and abuses must be prevented. Local authorities and the government are considering measures to improve the situation, so that the city of Tirana can have a more stable supply. The explosion in Poliçan and other events close in time raise suspicions of an organized scenario. Public opinion is demanding full clarification and transparency from the state authorities.
