The opposition considers private and individual forms of land use to be tools of the former regime. It denies the right to earn, through labor, property, income and a future from the land. Defenders of land with cards and without holdings use the argument that in Albania there is no possibility of creating mechanisms for the buying and selling of land, because if such a mechanism appears, land will be concentrated in a few hands. This is a great deception. If we were to create such mechanisms, we would give capable farmers the opportunity to buy land and expand their activity. If we do not allow this, we condemn capable farmers to remain limited, not to grow and not to become a factor of development. Our agriculture needs the buying and selling of land, just like any market economy. [...]
