Berisha, a friend of Shirak in Paris
From 15 to 19 June, at the European Union branch in Paris, former leaders and former deputies from 45 different states held talks, as did 2 Frenchmen. 2 Albanian French and an organiksht Albanian organization organized against the former Proletariat.
Meanwhile, the dallja and the delegation that were holding talks in France gave Mr. Berisha hope. Citing sources close to him, investigators say that she tried to contact the French President, but the attempts failed. Before leaving for Lyon, Mr. Berisha’s plane took a turn toward Paris, but it was impossible to land. Then he and his companions traveled by the suburban car to Lyon, to be close in the hope of finding a chance to meet President Shirak. When that failed, Berisha is said to have been deeply shaken and immediately set off for Tirana.

NATO in Slovenia?
... On the Albanian border there are many Serbian troops which could damage the situation. NATO will try to establish a clear line that there can no longer be weapons and missiles on the border. Serbia must withdraw its heavy forces and stop the provocations. Albania must not become an arena of destabilization. The situation calls for vigilance and resolve.
In the face of these developments, Prime Minister Nano has addressed a letter to Javier Solana, in which, according to the article, concern is expressed about interventions that could have consequences for his government. In essence, the message is presented as a request to protect him politically, leaving the issue of Kosovo in the background.
