On Monday, a large rally commemorating Azem Hajdari
League Against Dictatorship: Let us all gather in “Skënderbej” Square
On Monday, October 12, at 17:00, the League Against Dictatorship calls on the residents of the capital to gather in “Skënderbej” Square to commemorate the December Leader, the hero of pluralism, Azem Hajdari, one month after he was murdered by the falang[a?] of Fatos Nano’s clique.
The memorial rally for Hajdari will be the accusation and protest of Albanians against the Majko government, which swore in the parliament of Kalashnikovs that it would not investigate Hajdari’s murderers and would continue to attack the opposition.
On Monday, everyone to “Skënderbej” Square.

Dialogue with Kalashnikovs and handcuffs for the opposition
To the opposition’s repeated calls for dialogue about the major problems troubling the country, Nano-Majko’s left-wing government has, since June 29, continually responded with Kalashnikovs and handcuffs.
The physical and political elimination of the opposition is the government’s principal aim, and on this basis the governing coalition is determined to engage in dialogue with anyone capable. The [unclear] of political murders, assassinations, intimidation and activities targeting the opposition involves dozens of people, culminating in the murder of the hero of pluralism, Azem Hajdari; in none of these cases have the perpetrators been caught and convicted. The murders of Abdy Matoshi, Gjin Kolçaku, Naim Dizardi, Bujar Suli, Fredi Shehu, Bashkim Shkurti, Skënder Kalenja, Besim Çera and the December Leader, Azem Hajdari, have not only gone unsolved, but the government has taken no steps to find and apprehend the perpetrators. The political Prosecutor’s Office, a servile tool of the current regime, has opened no investigation into any of these political murders and has made no parliamentary resolution concerning these heinous criminal acts. On the contrary, the Prosecutor’s Office, as a blind instrument of political power, inevitably shakes the prison handcuffs every day and investigates right into the cells, targeting members, supporters, MPs and leaders at every level of the Democratic Party and other opposition forces. Former Democratic Party ministers and others from the ranks of the Democratic Party have been imprisoned, convicted and held in harsh prison conditions: Ridvan Bode, the Party’s former Secretary-General, Lulzim Keta, Ridvan Bode; the chairman of the country’s third-largest party and other opposition members, Egerim Spahia, are being held in prison cells, and others. Nevertheless, former President Sali Berisha, former President Sali Berisha and his former government are in the country’s prisons; no less guilty is the opposition leader, Sali Berisha. No less guilty is the opposition leader, Sali Berisha. No less guilty is the opposition leader, Sali Berisha. No less guilty is the opposition leader, Sali Berisha. No less guilty is the opposition leader, Sali Berisha. No less guilty is the opposition leader, Sali Berisha. No less guilty is the opposition leader, Sali Berisha. No less guilty is the opposition leader, Sali Berisha.
The Prime Minister of Nano’s opposition promises that he will continue along these lines and calls for dialogue precisely on these terms.
Nevertheless, why should the opposition engage in dialogue after this policy has been set out, unless it is equal political dialogue without handcuffs and violence? The opposition, even without political handcuffs, has no other urgent need for dialogue, and the government’s exclusion of every possibility will bring about an end like Nano’s, for Majko’s agenda, and will further aggravate the crisis.
Majko again said that the government would continue dialogue as it has until now, on all the country’s pressing problems. Mr Majko himself is convinced that this path is wrong and that it is a road leading to his own end, as well as the end of his state. If he once spoke of cousins and his brother, today, as he is [unclear] to the Albanians, the international community and security, to impose handcuffs and continue punishments, until, in this war against opponents, he appoints negotiators and keeps them with the Majko government.
Hallin Shamata, Blerim Çela, Safet Zhulali, Egr[e?]m Spahija are negotiators and could represent part of the opposition. Majko, on what terms are they to go to prison, where Ilir Meta is? These [unclear] then to the cell with Ergem Spahia? These [unclear] then—will this happen to their government and the country?
For this reason Majko has agreed to negotiate behind the scenes, but has also made it possible to bring [unclear] to the country. If the government has blocked all freedoms in the country, so that people cannot come out and see, make trouble and attack while being [unclear], for an obvious purpose—but inevitably—to kill, shed tears and make a show for the international community, all the means have nevertheless been put in place for the repeated calls for dialogue, and it is said that this opposition is the one that is supposed to remain in dialogue with the Majko government.
The differences in dialogue: Blerim Cela, Safet Zhulali, Egerim Spahija are the negotiators who could represent part of the opposition. Majko, on what terms are they to go to prison, where Ilir Meta is? These [unclear] then to the cell with Ergem Spahia? These [unclear] then—will this happen to their government and the country?
Political distinctions and values are effective not for proposals but for debating and discussing the country’s major problems; however, this becomes meaningless when the government’s Kalashnikovs and handcuffs have been used as threats, etc., and the government took power on June 29.

The government is protecting Azem Hajdari’s murderers
Today, 27 days since the murder of the December Leader
Every day that passes since the murder of Azem Hajdari, the symbol of democracy and pluralism, proves the involvement of Fatos Nano’s government and his successor in the crime that shook the entire Albanian world. The government of former communists, which leaves the criminals who took the December Leader’s life at large and unaccountable, shows Albanians that they have been and remain on the side of the murderers, who have come [unclear] but are untouched by those in power. Democrats and all Albanians who loved and admired Azem Hajdari can never tolerate this fact. The government must either catch the criminals and bring them to justice, or publicly declare that it itself committed Azem Hajdari’s murder.

Children from Albania and Kosovo, victims of criminal traffickers, are miraculously saved. Their parents and the Italian police are their rescuers
To escape the danger posed by the Carabinieri, three speedboat smugglers from Vlora who were transporting clandestine migrants [?] seized nine children who were on board an inflatable boat, among them three newborns, and threw them into the sea. After the Italian rescue, some were saved by their parents, while the others were rescued by the Carabinieri, who found them in the sea despite the bad weather, searching for and rescuing those who were [unclear]. On the other side, this [unclear] would [unclear] the children’s parents.
This is how, in dramatic fashion, a two-day search by Italian police officers ended, as they tried to save the children from danger. According to the Italian police, there were nine children on the inflatable boat, who were rescued by the Carabinieri.
Eight days have passed since the [mur?]der in San Cataldo di Lecce.
After this, the Carabinieri stopped 30 clandestine migrants [?], among them nine children and nine women. A Carabinieri patrol was also present during the landing; it had arrived at the location after being alerted by the crew of a Carabinieri patrol boat. Near the coast, the smugglers were stopped and, when they heard the noise of the patrol boat, they threw the children into the sea, among them [unclear] of their parents. The first to end up amid the waves were the newborns, who were rescued by their fathers and mothers.

TVSH, a center of national hatred
TVSH continues to produce national hatred every day. Favoritism toward the government, discrimination against the opposition, lack of information, unrestrained propaganda to mobilize people, and service to anti-Albanian individuals are just some of the things Albanians see every day on television.
Majko’s arrival at the head of the government has only strengthened censorship and the lack of airtime for the opposition, citizens and local government, alternative opinions and, especially, opinions that differ from those of the government and its watchdogs of the Klosi type.
Airtime for the opposition and citizens has been definitively shut down, and an immediate accusation was made [unclear] to be broadcast on TV Klosi’s screen. In this position is the opposition’s view of the government program.
