The “Majko” government closes universities and schools
The University of Tirana has also closed its doors. A few days ago the Majko government closed the Universities of Vlorë and Gjirokastër
Along with Tirana, the universities in Shkodër, Elbasan, and Korçë are also being closed. Majko wants to isolate the strike. The government wants their closure because of the strike.

In a completely arbitrary move, yesterday, by order of the government, the police emptied the student dormitories in the “Studenti” Quarter. Thousands of students were left under the open sky. Yesterday the government also closed the University of Tirana, in the hope that it would damage the student strike. In an unprecedented act, the government has ordered the closure of all schools in the country, forcibly emptying the dormitories as well. In the late evening hours yesterday, the government police surrounded the “Studenti” Quarter with special units, while using force against the democrats who had been defending them.

Everyone to “Skënderbej” Square
Today, at 11:30, again in protest against neo-dictatorship
We have designated this day as auspicious. It is a day that will seal a clear divide among Albanians between patriots and the petty people and blind tools of the chief neo-dictator. Let everyone come to the square. Today, on 19 February. For democrats, 19 February is a marked day of establishing equidistance from communism. For democrats, 19 February is a marked day of re-establishing a true opposition and, it seems, definitively breaking away from vassalage to official anti-communism. 19 February is a day of final alignment with the missing freedom of Albania.
DECISIVE FOR TIRANA!
An extraordinary determination is needed to show by force the anti-Albanian who has brought the country to this state. On 19 February, the Democratic Party, as it has done in these days, appeals for the massive participation of the capital’s residents and especially of the young, students, and high-school pupils. This is not only because the right is on their side, but because the capital’s residents are facing a great and historic test.
For democrats, 19 February is not only a day of major protest, but a day of a high civic mission.

The prime minister, this scarecrow chief of police
Prime Minister Majko has chosen the vile tactic of threatening students and teachers through the police. He is using police operations and displays of force to terrorize citizens and students. This irresponsible behavior by the government aims to silence the voice of protest. A government that closes universities, throws students into the street, and uses violence as an argument is a government that has lost its moral legitimacy.
