By Sami NEZA The blood-soaked hand of Millosheviç and his terrorist gangs has put all of Kosovo in a noose. Over the past four or five days, the terrorist military militia of Belgrade has attacked Albanians and Kosovo’s towns with a barbarity unseen for dozens of centuries, killing, slashing, looting and burning. A barbaric terrorist army, more than two hundred thousand fighters who have turned their weapons on peace and peaceful people in Kosovo, bringing humanity’s greatest miseries to one place; mercy is warranted for the many crimes committed by Millosheviç’s criminals. In just three days, mass killings have engulfed Goden, Gjakovë, Rahovec, Pejë, Prizren, Prishtinë, and elsewhere. Alongside the barbarians, Serbs of Kosovo have also joined in the crimes—those who until yesterday lived and worked together with Albanians. The Bosnian scenario is fully in operation, with the same response and violence as four or five years ago. Terrified of death from NATO’s attacks and seeing his final days approaching, the Serbian president has erupted in unrelenting hysteria against innocent and defenseless people, against the civilian population of Albanians, their identity, culture, history, and the violated lives of Albanians in Kosovo. Thousands have been massacred—children, women, men and elderly people—killed in the most gruesome ways; entire neighborhoods’ homes are set on fire, houses are looted. Even the blind can see that Albanians are facing not people of this century, nor of the previous one, but remnants of antiquity and barbarism. These days, right alongside the terrorists, these barbaric creatures, stand the communists of the continents—in Russia, Greece, Italy, Asia and China—and Albanian communists too, people who have remained united in communism even in the face of the gravest crimes the century has witnessed. They are in the same trench as the barbarians commanded by Millosheviç, those who think nothing of killing babies in their cradles and pregnant women. Dozens and dozens of villages have been ethnically cleansed throughout Kosovo; entire neighborhoods in Albanian cities two thousand years old have been emptied, and Millosheviç’s gangs have moved in instead—a travesty, a deformation of the human race, animal instincts born of primitivism, nationalism, and stolen and false myths. What the Serbian gangs are doing in Kosovo is the product of a great, deep-seated self-deception, the consequence of these things arising from the muhaxhirs who have remained there, but have been accompanied throughout their lives. These primitive remnants, despite living in Europe for more than a century, have not managed to take anything from its civilization. They remain aliens on our continent, spiritually and materially impoverished, and in need of European civilization—along with that part of the Albanian nation and the Albanians in Kosovo. These are the most dramatic days for Kosovo, and likewise dramatic days for Albanians, democracy, the Balkans and Europe. In their own way, their experience and their struggle will be a lesson and an experience for all those who have watched over the past ten years, and what is being written now, more than ever. Albanians face barbaric terror that has not penetrated any heart in Europe. They face terror that involves their own bodies, with victims bled and killed through deception, misery and war. Now that there is something there that should have been NATO, it is the force that ought to protect Europe best from Balkan barbarism, and it is being left behind, while its inhabitants have not been taken into its fold. They have gone forward, while others have remained centuries behind.
