Azem face to face with his killers

EDITORIAL Edi PALOKA Much time has passed since that black night when the bullets of darkness separated us from Azem, but however many days and nights may pass, they will never be so many as to make us forget. Azem’s blood, as on that terrible night, continues to cry out; it demands justice, it demands retribution. That blood now flows through the veins of every Democrat; therefore, none of us will find peace of mind until justice is served. on page 3

The government protects Azem Hajdari’s killers

Today, 333 days since the murder of the December Leader Every day that passes since the murder of Azem Hajdari, the symbol of democracy and pluralism, proves the involvement of Fatos Nano’s government and its successor in the crime that shocked the entire Albanian world. The government of the former communists, which leaves the criminals who took the life of the December Leader free and undisturbed, shows Albanians that they have been and remain on the side of the killers, who have names and identities but are untouchable by those in power. The Democrats and all Albanians who loved and honored Azem Hajdari can in no way tolerate this fact. The government must either capture the criminals and bring them before justice, or publicly declare that it itself carried out the murder of Azem Hajdari.
