Today, 348 days since the murder of the December Leader
The government protects Azem Hajdari’s killers
Every day that passes since the murder of Azem Hajdari, the symbol of democracy and pluralism, proves the involvement in this flagrant and unprecedented crime of the government of Fatos Nano and his successor. The government of the former communists, who include [and?] criminals who took the life of the December Leader, are showing Albanians where they stand and that they are responsible for the murder; those responsible have names, but are untouched by those in power. Democrats and all Albanians who condemned the killing of Azem Hajdari with indignation cannot remain indifferent to this grave wrongdoing. The government must either apprehend those charged with this criminal act, or publicly declare that it will do nothing to solve the murder of Azem Hajdari.
