The neo-communists - a return to the fathers By Edi PALOKA From the PS press release in its mouthpiece “Zëri i Popullit”, written in bitterness (“slander”) driven by hatred toward the opposition, which is passing with public indifference and the concern of government officials, about an article published in “Rilindja Demokratike”, it clearly emerges that the former communist parties consider it unacceptable and unforgivable for the opposition to challenge the government. In fact, the opposition is “at fault” not only for what it says or votes for, but also for how it does so. Thus, PS criticizes the opposition and the newspaper “RD” for supposedly using terms that evoke hatred. But where does the government voice draw this conclusion from? First, because yesterday it consciously slandered the opposition dishonestly. Second, because it is trying by all means to carry out psychological terror in order to imprison political opponents on the absurd charge of inciting hatred. This is a typical practice of the neo-communists in their rule-of-law state. They have learned their fathers’ lessons well. Under communism it was said that the class enemy had to be unmasked. Now they want to unmask the opposition as the enemy of the democratic order. They want to turn political language into a language of submission and servility. In doing so, they merely prove their return to their ideological fathers.
